Ex-cop admits to charges of steroids

Anthony Forgione, a former police officer who was implicated in an Albany-based investigation of steroid trafficking, has pleaded guilty to a 15-count federal indictment for similar crimes.
The ex-cop faces a maximum potential sentence of life in prison for his guilty plea last Friday in U.S. District Court in Palm Beach County, Fla.

Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven were recently elected to the Hall of Fame by the Baseball Writers’ Association of America.
Sluggers Rafael Palmeiro, Mark McGwire, Jeff Bagwell, and Juan Gonzalez came nowhere close and it is believed that the Steroids Era will prevent them from gaining the place in the near future.
