Mark McGwire apologizes for steroid use

Former St Louis Cardinals slugger Mark McGwire has admitted that his Major League Baseball playing career was featured by use of steroids.
McGwire said he used steroids at various times during the decade and regretted doing so.

Woman caught smuggling steroids

A woman visiting the Lincoln prison was caught while attempting to smuggle drugs into Lincoln Prison hidden inside her bra, a court was told.
Katarzyna Paszkiewicz was pressured by her then boyfriend to supply him with steroids while he was serving a sentence at the Greetwell Road jail.

AFI and NADA resolve jurisdictional issue

UK Athletics recently made an announcement that Bernice Wilson, who made her international debut for Great Britain at the European Indoor Championships in Paris in March, has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for two anabolic steroids.
The British sprinter tested positive for testosterone and clenbuterol during the Bedford International Games on June 12.

French Bodybuilder pleads guilty

A French bodybuilder has pleaded guilty to distributing anabolic steroids supplied from Chinese sources and shipped to Pittsburgh from Tennessee.
Karim Mourahib, 30, a French Moroccan from Le Mans, appeared in federal court and waived grand jury indictment before Senior U.S. District Judge Donetta Ambrose.

UFC kicks out Marquardt

Nate Marquardt of the UFC will never fight again, according to UFC president Dana White.

Steroid use leads to suspension

Minor-league pitchers within the Toronto Blue Jays organization, right-hander Aderly De La Cruz and left-hander Luillyn Guillen, were suspended after failing to clear doping tests.
The two were playing in the Dominican Summer League and their suspensions are effective immediately.
