WADA and UCI together in appeal against lifting ban

The World Anti-Doping Agency has joined the International Cycling Union to make a joint appeal against the acquittal of Alberto Contador, three-time Tour de France winner, for testing positive for clenbuterol.
Contador was permitted to resume his career by the Spanish Cycling Federation.

UK Athletics recently made an announcement that Bernice Wilson, who made her international debut for Great Britain at the European Indoor Championships in Paris in March, has been provisionally suspended after testing positive for two anabolic steroids.
